Strawberry

Except for glass and silver, nothing has been more inclusive in my still life paintings than the strawberry. The beautiful red color was always my first consideration. But, I have to admit, the enticing aroma as I worked on the painting kept me coming back to this wonderful dash of color. This, then is a singular tribute to my favorite berry.
